Fried Pumpkin – Qargħa ħamra moqli


600g pumpkin

100g flour

olive oil

salt and freshly ground pepper


  1. Peel, remove the seeds and cut the pumpkin into squares.
  2. Put the flour in a large plate and season.  Mix well.
  3. Coat the pumpkin with the flour mixture.
  4. In a large and deep frying pan heat some oil and fry the pumpkin in it.
  5. Cook on both sides, taking care not to burn it.
